Autrepont

I am working on a typeface. Named Autrepont, it's a tribute to the surf town of Biarritz and honoring the cast-iron traditions of 19th century France. A version of this typeface adorns the manhole lids of the city and this is the source of inspiration.

I am developing it into a full typeface, complete with upper- and lowercase, capitals and numerals.
