Hidden in 4 acres of forest at the base of the Pidurangala rock is our retreat, which the villagers themselves have named as “Kurulu Uyana” – Bird Park. A bird park in the wilderness it certainly is, but there is even more that you can enjoy: walk or ride to explore the 5th century World Heritage site of Sigiriya and our mighty neighbour the Pidurangala rock and ancient monastery.
