Philly Freeriders Unused Logo

I was stumbling through the archives and this little ray of sunshine caught my eye. It was created for a non-profit snowboarding club called Philly Freeriders and went unused. The weirdest part of this business is the amount of strong pieces that don't get love by clients. In this case, the customer wanted more options and fortunately we were able to find another logo that fit the PFR brand better that they were stoked on.
As a designer, every option has to be strong or you'll be pushed off to the side. I know that part of the job can be tiresome, but your art has your name on it and taking the extra steps necessary will always work out in the end. My favorite part of this strategy is the consistently growing collection of sexy gems like this one.
