Red Sox Scores: May 9, 2017

Game No. 032

Tuesday night’s interleague contest in Milwaukee was a slugfest that saw 25 hits, three home runs in the first inning, and two players just shy of hitting for the cycle — Mookie Betts short a triple and Keon Broxton missing a double. The Brewers battered Sox starter Drew Pomeranz, collecting five runs in the first inning alone, to send him home with the loss.

For every Red Sox game this season, @Amy Parker and I will be visualizing the final score. Our ground rules: scores must be posted before the first pitch of the next game and must represent the final score. New for this year: home games will be on a white background, away games on black, and the Red Sox will always be red.
