Discovery Limited Submit a Medical Claim

Another exciting project of many. A new feature for the Discovery member app called “Submit a claim”.

The problem statement given to me by CEO Adrian Gore was “How do we make our claim application process quicker and cheaper?”.

“Submit a claim” will allow Discovery Medical Aid customers to submit their medical aid claims quickly and easily via their smartphone.

Processes applied:

· Creating a smooth transition from a manual medical aid claim submission process to a digital one, allowing for an easier, hassle-free process for Discovery customers.
· Conducted user observations and data analysis of the full internal and external workflow of the claim application.
· Conducted user research with Discovery members.

After tabulating all the data this assisted in the creation of wireframes that led to a prototype which I used for user testing. Once we got to a version the team and I were confident with, this leads to the creation of the user interface designs.
