Bank Support Messenger Bot

Hi all!

We've attended a hackathon organized by a local bank in Turkey last weekend and the main goal was to come up with digital solutions to SMEs' (small and medium sized enterprises) problems.

After listening to their problems, we've seen one common thing and that was "usability". Each of them needed a different app/service as a solution but they all wanted a common thing, they wanted it to be easy to use.

We wanted to focus on their relations with the bank instead of their customers and we've come up with the idea of developing a messenger bot for the bank.

This shot is a sample prototype of how AI can be applied to conversational UI and customer support services. Unfortunately, it's in Turkish but main flow is something like:

-Start with a hello and a list of functions to start the conversation
-Customer wants to be called by the bank
-Bank presents options of next 4 days and asks you to choose "other" if it doesn't fit
-Customer chooses ''other''
-Bank asks customer to type the preffered date in natural language by providing usage examples
-Customer types ''thursday of next week at 7 o'clock evening''
-Bank repeats your request in exact date with your phone number to confim with options like ''confirm''-''I want to change the date''-''My phone number is wrong''
-Customer confirms

It was my first experience designing a conversational UI but it definitely won't be my last. It was really a fun journey and I'll make sure to try new concepts in the future!
