Resume
These days I've been going through a lot of resumes, and there are a few things that really strike me. So my project for this weekend is to explore these thoughts by having different takes on my personal resume.
- Black and white everything. Most applicants stick with black and white. There's nothing wrong with that, but I'd love to see more people use colours to reflect their personal branding.
- Difficult to skim. When assessing an application for the first time, I tend to skim through the entire application first, and then read it more thoroughly. Resumes with little spacing or a flat font hierarchy (or outright text blocks) force me to stop and figure out what is going on there.
Last but not least: Zomato is hiring designers!
