Spirit Animal

When I met this rabbit on a still night some 7 and a half years ago, she stared into me. Then, as though showing me what to do, she darted away into the land, into the dark, into the unknown. ⠀

"Do not become transfixed by a charmer holding a blade in the night. Keep running. Stop to breath and listen. Then move. Watch me. See how quickly I am gone. See how the expanse is home and the burrow obscure."

After a 7 year cycle I've heard her whispers on the breeze again.
