NYC Taxi Explorations icons
Here’s a few explorations I did when trying to create a taxi icon, getting inspiration from the NYC ones.
I will quickly describe what my feelings are from left to right:
1. Visually complex. Feels like it could be the back of a car also.
2. Less complex because the cuts on the light sides, but still there’s a point if you keep looking at it that it might be confused with the back part.
3. Visually simple and balanced, but I miss the cuts on the lights. Again it can be confused with the back part of a car.
4. I love the balance and simplicity. Although it looks modern-ish than the Taxi in the image, for me works pretty well!. This is the one I would chose!.
