CKGD Logo 2016

Hey all,

I'm updating my logo and I'd love feedback on it, please. This is one concept, which allows the logo to be used in vertical and horizontal orientation, which I can't do very well with my current logo. I want a cleaner, more polished look, but the letters I have to work with are fairly tricky.

Anyway, feedback is very much appreciated – positive or negative.
