Carprint

This was a fun project for a car dealership starting a a sub-brand for a security feature they were offering. Originally called "VTR" (Vehicle Theft Registration) the idea is to etch the VIN or a similar identification number on multiple parts of the car to make it harder to send to a chop shop.

I came up with "Carprint" to give a feeling of security and reference the subtle marks left behind on the car parts. I think the tire treads in the print are also reminiscent of watermark style security features in dollar bills and things, but maybe that's just me.
