Overview: Splat, a leader in fantasy hair color for over 27 years, needed to revamp their outdated website and add ecommerce functionality. The old site no longer aligned with the vibrant, edgy nature of the brand, and Splat was eager to update it to match new packaging and models, while also allowing for online purchases.
UX Strategy: Our team developed a bold and engaging UX strategy tailored to Splat's young audience (16-24 year old females). The new site design focused on simplicity, quick navigation, and an easy checkout process. We integrated tutorial videos on product pages and ensured seamless social media integration to keep the site fresh and engaging for its target market.
Build & Design: The design phase featured bold color gradients and large fonts, bringing a modern, hip feel to the site. We incorporated a mobile-first design, ensuring the site was responsive and user-friendly across all devices. Built on the Magento platform, the site now supports easy ecommerce management for Splat's team.
