Mecenas Lab | Brand Identity

Mecenas were people who sponsored artists in Italy, ensuring that they could make a living from their art. The name refers to the cultural renaissance, the most prosperous period for the arts and creativity. The idea was to associate coffee with a source of creativity, a fuel.

The Lab part, on the other hand, represents the fact that ideas need experimentation, which makes the place a kind of creative laboratory.

The symbol was created using the gondolas of Venice, as the city was responsible for the worldwide expansion of coffee. Next to them, there's an espresso machine that illustrates the coffee shop and the smoke from the warm coffee, which brings a feeling of home.
