Monitoring and Management Apps

Objective

Padurus Pro is a comprehensive monitoring and management app designed to streamline the process of managing clients' websites. The goal was to integrate multiple essential features into a single platform, allowing users to efficiently monitor, maintain, and optimize their server performance and uptime.

Features

  • IPAM Management: Simplified IP address allocation and management.

  • Uptime Management: Real-time tracking and reporting of website uptime.

  • Server Management: Tools for controlling and maintaining server configurations.

  • Performance Board: A visual dashboard for tracking server performance metrics.

  • Diagnostic: Built-in tools for diagnosing issues across servers and websites.

Process

  • Research: Conducted thorough research by analyzing existing products in the market to understand user needs and identify gaps in functionality.

  • Ideation & Approval: Worked closely with the directors to brainstorm and define core features, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Wireframing: Developed wireframes to establish the app’s layout and user flow, focusing on simplicity and ease of navigation.

  • Prototyping: Created interactive prototypes in Figma to bring the design to life and showcase the app's functionality.

Challenges

One of the major challenges in this project was the tight deadline—just one month to complete the entire design. To manage this, I broke the project down into key features and set weekly goals for each. This allowed me to focus on one feature at a time while ensuring progress on all fronts.

Outcome

The end result was a user-friendly app that combined all critical features into a seamless interface. The design was well-received by both the development team and clients, with positive feedback on its ease of use and visual appeal.

Additional Details

  • Successfully secured 3 confirmed clients who adopted the app for their website management needs and achieved a 20% engagement rate from users within the first week of sharing the app publicly, demonstrating significant interest and validation for the product.
