Fun With Letters - 3D

Check it out, here I have styled the custom lettering I created. Tried to get a nice Gold look. I was looking at a few tutorials to help me make this and I ran across VRay for C4D. Do any of you guys know about this? Is this something I should invest in? If you can share any info, it would be much appreciated! Thanks!
