Space Needle

The Space Needle. 400 Broad Street, Seattle, Washington. Built in 1962.

The Space Needle was built, in less than one year, for the 1962 world's fair as a collaboration between John Graham and Edward E. Carlson.

It was built to withstand many of nature's forces with elaborate earthquake protection and the ability to barely sway in wind speeds up to 200 miles per hour.
