Apple Watch Health Data Interactive Visualisation

Enter your text here...Smart watches provide us with a ton of data about our lives, thanks to the fact that we wear them on our wrists every day. We can have a unique personalised view of our day-to-day activities from the data. Only the graphs and charts provided by the first-party applications are often limited to analysing a single measurement or activity at a time.

That’s why I decided to use the data gathered by my Apple Watch for over a year to put more useful information into a single visualisation and to put the data and measurements into context with each other. With the hope of providing a more holistic view of how my days look from the point of my smartwatch.

Apple provides a way to export user data from the Apple Health app into a machine-readable file format (XML). Third-party tools and apps also exist and provide a human-readable export format (such as CSV). I used Eric Wolter’s HealthExportCSV app to export my data.
