Monetization

My project had the only monetization — placement of banner ads from Google. But with the understanding that diversification of income adds to the stability and maneuverability of business, we decided to add the possibility of turning off advertising on the site.

For this:

1. We created a page to disable advertising, https://www.ratatype.com/remove-ads/. PayPal was chosen as the most popular payment system in the world.

2. Buttons and links to disable advertising have been placed on the site (for example, on the test page (https://www.ratatype.es/typing-test/) and main page (https://www.ratatype.es/typing-test/) (green button).

3. Added a trigger message to users with an offer to disable advertising.
