Taxi 2030 - In collaboration with Mercedes-Benz
T. E. O.
As part of the TAXI 2030 project, I designed a self-driving, electric car, T.E.O., which functions not only as a car, but also as a cable car. This solution makes transport fast and safe, and it is an environmentally friendly solution. When the car stops under the cable, an intelligent arm comes - that is connected to the cable - and connects with the hole, which is on the top of the car. The car charges, when it functions as a cable car, during the connection with the arm. My inspirations were places like South America, Nepal where sometimes travelling is challenging and dangerous.
This project was also created as a result of a joint collaboration with Mercedes-Benz, when I was a transportation design student at Moholy-Nagy University of Arts and Design. A huge thank you for Robert Lešnik ( Head of Exterior Design department, Mercedes-Benz), Thomas Salzle (Senior Exterior designer, Mercedes-Benz), Gabriel Németh (former senior exterior designer, currently Exterior Design Director at GEELY).
Thank you for your time!
