Ellevest Personal Banking App

Here is a quick study of a redesign I did earlier this year for Ellevest, a personal banking app made for women.

I strongly believe that one of the best ways to study User Experience Design, is by working on products that you already use on a regular basis.

Ellevest is one of my favorite finance apps because it allows you to set up multiple 'Save Accounts' with deposit goals. I wanted to take this to a new level by adding a countdown timer, which tracks how much time is left on your goal.

I also revamped the account details section to include the card information. I've found that being able to view my card info on my app is much easier, as I don't have to go looking for my wallet with a physical card.

I wish more apps implemented this feature!

I also included a budget section, which integrates their Coaching service with your specific goal.
