Creating a logo for a Photographer

This project was about designing a logo for a photographer. I know the photographer very well, so I already knew what his preferences were. His specifications were: simplicity, preferably black and white and a camera should be embedded. I thought of some ideas in my head and made some sketches. It was clear to me that the camera would have to be presented in a very simplified way, otherwise there would be too much commotion. I played around with some shapes and settled on a rounded version. I sent my client 4 designs and was able to convince him to integrate the red edge of the camera lens. The red dot is an eye-catcher and a plus because it attracts the viewer’s eye like a magnet.
