Creating "JUMP"

a logo for a amusement park

I was commissioned by a friend to design a logo for a children's amusement park with trampolines as the main attraction. The founders settled on the name "Jump". Shortly before I received this assignment, I experimented with a blending technique in Photoshop that can be used to create beautiful 3D fonts. I immediately thought of using this technique for this logo.

The design should be playful, colorful funky and fun. For this, I used the “Flavors” font, which brings out the playful and childlike very well. As a background, I chose a wobbly shape to give the fun motto another accent.
