"Emission Ball"

The emission ball happens to be in line with the latest trends in UI, especially for backgrounds, scrolling animations, or even micro-animations. In order to bring that into a motion graphic segment, we managed to create one in Blender 3D.

The Blender 3D  illustrations bring out the best of graphic design. With its improved image processing software, it allows you to create and enhance not only illustrations but photos and 3D graphic objects as well.

For this one, have a look at how we’ve made it in Blender 3D:

  • Insert a big and a tiny sphere far apart > go to properties > Instancing > verts > press Command P (parenting) > reduce the size of overlapping spheres

  • Go to texture > select type to wood > size 1.34 > patterns “band noise”

  • Make frames 1-250 and put emission material to the overlapping balls and keep changing the color keyframe at every 50 frames and bring it back to the same color in the last 50 frames to make it seem like it's in the loop.
