Bleak Midwinter album art

Creative direction, photography, and design for the song "Bleak Midwinter" by NCC Worship. It’s a fresh take on the classic Christmas song. It was also super fun to create the cover for this one 🌲.Since I had to listen to Christmas music early, I’m glad it was this one 😊. Everything was sourced from my office or from outside to support the central themes of the song. The heart of the song focuses on the question “What can I give Him?” That central visual theme carries over into the final cover art through the gold heart painted on strips of birch bark. A bit of warmth in the midst of a cold winter. That is Hope.
