November 25 - National Jukebox Day
Did you know that National Jukebox Day always falls on the day before Thanksgiving? Why you ask? Because the night before Thanksgiving is the busiest night of the year at bars and restaurants, thanks friends and family reconnecting around their local jukebox.
HOW TO CELEBRATE (at home and/or without a jukebox) -
• PHONE A FRIEND - Since it is recommended to limit social gatherings this year, reach out to your friends that you would've reconnected with in front of the jukebox tonight!
• DEDICATE A SONG - Save a quarter for your next trip home by posting a song on social media! Be sure to dedicate it to your friends, flooding their feed with memories of their Pre-Covid days!
• WATCH A JUKEBOX MUSICAL - Jukebox Musicals are stage or film musicals that are made up entirely of popular music. You are guaranteed to have a great night singing along with Mamma Mia, The Moulin Rouge, or Singing In The Rain! AND don't miss the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade tomorrow morning! Two jukebox musicals will be performing during the broadcast: Jagged Little Pill (the music of Alanis Morissette) and Ain't Too Proud (the music of the Temptations).
